When you are happy to book Patrick as your official photographer you will need to send him a retainer fee to reserve the date in his diary. The fee of £200 can be paid by cheque, credit card or PayPal.
Yes. Usually twice
(a) At the initial consultation (after your first contact with Patrick) when we'll chat about your wedding plans and
(b) you will be invited to a complimentary pre-wedding shoot during which we will review the booking information.
It’s totally up to you but if you wish to have some “getting ready” shots in your album, Patrick prefers to allow at least one hour prior to leaving for the ceremony.
If you have requested any “must have” shots we will certainly get them covered!
It is unusual for Patrick to work with another photographer but it can be arranged should you so desire. A possible requirement for a secondary photographer is when the bride and groom are getting ready at distant locations.
Patrick uses two cameras and has a back-up camera in the car just in case.
There's no restriction.
You would normally have a "scheduled" moment after which you no further wish photographic coverage. This milestone might be the first dance or a mock/real cake-cutting.
If the photographic coverage required is over 4 hours, light sustenance would be much appreciated.
Patrick is more than happy to work alongside a videographer and can recommend one who he knows and trusts.
You will be able to view all the photographs to choose from.
There are two natural approaches. You can either (a) visit the studio and view the pictures on the 24” monitor and discuss any artistic treatments you might like or (b) view the images over the internet using your PC from the comfort of your home on a password-protected website. In the latter approach the images are quite small (due to download restrictions) but this method allows you to visualise a Black & White version of the images.
If you order a traditional album it might take only three weeks. However, if you order an Italian Wedding Book, the design of the layout will take a while and you will be able to review the design and make as many revisions as you wish until you are totally happy with the final preview. Once you have approved the layout, your wedding storybook will be transmitted to Italy to be hand made and come back to the UK after 6-8 weeks (depending upon the workload at the monastery).
There are three methods:
(1) We deliver locally
(2) You can collect it from us or
(3) we post it to you via recorded delivery/courier.
There is a viewing/purchase facility on the website the link for which will be given to your guests at the wedding reception.
Yes. Every wedding is backed-up on to DVD. Twice.
In this event 2020 wedding photography would appoint another photographer from a network of associates known to us.
Yes. In this circumstance reasonable travelling costs and/or accommodation might be added to the quotation.
If anyone can think of a useful question to go here, please let Patrick know.
UK weather is pretty unreliable. So Patrick always comes prepared with studio lighting gear - just in case the photographs have to be taken indoors.
